Pizza Hut Tuscani Pasta
Have you heard about Pizza Hut’s new pastas? We tried them out last night and guess what? They’re really good! I was totally prepared to be disappointed. I was all ready for watery sauce and rubbery pasta, but nope – they were yummy and delicious. Lookie, I even took a picture:
The pasta comes in two varieties, Meaty Marinara and Creamy Chicken Alfredo. We ordered one of each, because I wasn’t sure how much we would need to feed seven of us. I was pleased to see that both pastas were full of meat, and both had a generous layer of melted cheese on top. The marinara actually had sort of a lasagna taste to it, because of all the meat and cheese. It was super! The crowd favorite, though, was the chicken alfredo. The sauce was really good, and there was lots and lots of chicken. Kayley said the chicken was a little dry, but don’t listen to her. She doesn’t even like chicken. It was fine. And! Each order of pasta comes with an order of five breadsticks. They were really good, too – everyone was fighting over them.
And I’m really surprised by the price – it’s just $11.99 per order, which includes the breadsticks. We needed two orders, but only because we’re a bunch of pigs and there are just so dang many of us around the table. A normal family could easily order just one tray. Pretty reasonably priced meal that mama doesn’t have to cook. My twin club delivers meals to new moms after they have their babies, and the next time I’m scheduled to bring a meal to someone, I’m going to save myself a whole bunch of time and driving and send over some pasta.
You want some, don’t you? I know you do! I’m giving away a coupon for a free pasta dinner for four. Want a free dinner from Pizza Hut and LaLaGirl? Leave a comment on this entry and I’ll randomly pick someone in a few days.

LaLaGirl is the mother of a teenager and two young sets of twins. She's happily married, loves living in Colorado, and writes almost daily about married life, raising multiples, and parenting a child with autism.

Um, why wasn’t I invited over for dinner?
I actually hadn’t heard of it before, otherwise we so would’ve ordered some this past weekend when we ordered from a competitor. We have major noodle and carb addicts in the house. We’ll have to give it a try.
Ack wait…we didn’t order from a competitor last weekend…we actually did order from Pizza Hut. Now I really wish I knew about the pasta. Darn it. Oh well, next time.
Wow! Those do look pretty tasty! The chicken Alfa-arado (sheldyn talk) one sounds yummy! How come I haven’t seen a commercial about this??? That’s a totally awesome deal, and is cheaper then cooking dinner! We’re going to have to check these out!
Oh man…those do look good! You’re right…they’re perfect for a new baby meal!
I have seen the commercials but was not sure if they would be any good. Glad you tried them and everyone liked them!
I’ve been very curious about those – but too afraid to try. Glad to hear they’re pretty good!
They look yummy! They would be great for a party- and way less expensive than the local Italian restaurant!
I have been wanting to try them, we eat ALOT of pasta in this household and I love Pizza Hut anyways, I was just like you, wondering if it was even gonna be good pasta, now that I have your good review *thanks btw* I definatly want to try it now!
Oh cool! I’ve been wondering if those are any good…I’m so happy to hear that they are! Yum!
Thanks for the review–I’ve been wondering how they tasted. Can’t wait to try some!
Dude… Pizza Hut should totally pay you for this kind of stuff
Cause your review made it sound about a bajillion times more yummy than their stupid commercials and advertisements!
Thanks for the review. I’m definitely going to try one of those next time I’m feeling too lazy to cook!
pick me! pick me! okay pick whomever you want.
i liked your review.
I was also wondering if the pasta from Pizza Hut was any good. I may have to order some now after your review. It would make an easy dinner now that I’m at the last 2 weeks of working as a kindergarten assistant teacher. I’m too tired to want to cook anything in the evenings when I get home.
Fun! I’ve been wanting to try this, too. Thanks for the chance to try it out! =D
I’m happy to read that you enjoyed it.
I want to win!! Seriously, those are some great photos. I’ve been scared to try them thinking “no meat”. We might get those tomorrow night!
I am so glad you did a review. I was actually contemplating ordering the alfredo last night but ‘chickened’ out and got just pizza instead. (No pun intended – LOL) I think I will give it a try after your review.
Um, well technically there is only 2 of us at the house. But I eat enough for at least 3 at this point! Plus I hate to cook, too tired! Put me in your drawing please!
Ohhhh…I will have to try this now! Looks and sounds yummy!
They sound great! Maybe we’ll have to order some one of these days.
I’ll have to try the alfredo one and see what I think of it. I had the marinara one a few weeks ago, and just didn’t enjoy it that much. You are right though – it isn’t wimpy pasta – there’s lots of meat and cheese. My problem is I like pasta with a little bit of sauce, so the fact that it was SO saucy was kind of a downer for me. That and it had a really strong fennel taste, which I’m not wild about.
I just noticed these the other day but since it’s only me haven’t ordered them yet. Thanks for the review…now I know at least it’s good stuff if I have the need.
I really want to try these new pastas, but I wonder if they really feed 4.
Hey, I’m into trying anything that a 4 year old and two 2 year olds might like! Thanks for offering!
The chicken Alfredo was great. It does feed a family of 4. The breadsticks were good to.
Oh yum! I figured this would be really gross so I was afraid to try it, but your review has given me some courage. I will definitely add this to the meal idea list I am making DH for after I have the baby. Last thing I would want is a nasty meal with post partum raging hormones!
sounds yummy
This is my first time at your site and I’ve already found something helpful just by reading the first entry, so thanks! I had been wondering for ages if those Pastas were any good… looks like I’ll have to try them for myself sometime now.
looks yummy!! we would love to win!!
thanks

Love your blog and would love to win this. I just bought a house in a new community that is far from everything. No one delivers to us yet and is probably gonna cost me $10 just in gas to get there to order this…LOL! It looks so good and my kids are driving me crazy to try it! Pick me…pick me…LOL!!
I had ordered the Toscani Lasagna from PH awhile since I was also interested in whether they were any good, and it was alright. A bit salty and a bit rubbery unlike what mentioned here, but possibly due to it being lasagna.
On reheat as leftovers, it wasn’t bad and seemed to get better, possibly because I got used to the saltiness.
I have been reading your posts for the last couple of hours, and it all may be really informative and nicely written. I did want to let you know that for some reason this post doesn’t seem to work in Internet Explorer. On a side note, I had been wondering if you desired to swap blogroll links? I hope to hear from you soon!
