We made a trip to Wal-Mart last night for school supplies. I feel like I was cutting it close, since the kids start kindergarten in just a couple of days! I refuse to pay “off season” prices, though, and I wanted to wait until the seasonal school supplies appeared in the stores. They were JUST putting it out yesterday at Wal-Mart, so we got first pick!
I got a bunch of stuff for our house, too – you can’t beat boxes of crayons for $.20 each, especially the way we go through them!

I love it when the new stuff starts getting put out …. try buying a cool lunch box off season, just doesn’t happen
We’re starting our school supply shopping this week. I’ve got so much crap to buy, I swear the only thing we don’t send to school is toilet paper.
Plus my lucky little munchkins are all going to uniform wearing schools this year so I’m going to Kohl’s and buying all the polo shirts and khaki pants! LOL
