Fabric Workroom

Check out this neat site – Fabric Workroom – they have lots of great custom decorating stuff for your house. I love the upholstered headboards – you can pick the style you want and the fabric from a huge selection of Waverly fabrics and they’ll construct it and send it right out to you.

They also have a variety Window Treatments, Drapes, Valances, Swags using these beautiful Waverly fabrics. I love it! I have pretty valances in my kitchen made by Waverly – I could have something made to match them for the sliding glass door in the kitchen, too! Their massive pattern library is searchable by pattern name and number, so it wouldn’t be hard to find the exact pattern I already have.

If you’re looking for a place to get some custom items for your house – window treatments, shower curtains, headboards – this is the place!

Kellogg’s Nutrition At A Glance

I’ve mentioned here before how I try to limit the amount of sugar my kids eat. The biggest change for us has been eliminating sugary cereals from their diet. They looooove sugary cereals (who doesn’t?) but I’m always stunned to see how much sugar they’re eating whenever I actually read the labels.

Kellogg’s is actually making it pretty easy for me to pick out an acceptable box of cereal, though – I noticed recently that they print nutrition info at-a-glance right on the front of their cereals. Check it out:

Mmmm, cereal.

I love it!

Shopping for Cereal!

Why don’t more manufacturers do this sort of thing? Save mama a little time and effort, and you can have my money!

Mabel’s Labels

Are you one of those ridiculously organized people who adores order and structure and … labels? I just found your DREAM website: Mabel’s Labels. This site is full of labels for all kinds of things. The iron-on clothing labels actually really stood out for me, as this would be IDEAL for our autistic son – my husband’s been bugging me to “brand” his clothing for some time now. And there are pantry labels and spice labels you can put on all your containers in the kitchen. What I really loved, though, was the Ultimate Back-To-School Combo, featuring those cute little dogtag-style bag tags. Kayley would really like these, and there are a bunch of darling little icons you can have printed along with the name. The site has a little tag-builder thing where you can preview exactly what the finished product will look like. Thumbs up all around! Check it out. Your Mabel’s Labels agent is Nicole Lee

Gemini Greetings – Cards for Twins and More!

Gemini Greetings I just happened upon the most darling site full of greeting cards designed for multiples – twins, triplets, and more! The adorable designs feature cute little illustrations of children in varying “quantities” – boy/girl twins popping out of a pumpkin on a Halloween card – a mom soaking in the tub with quad babies floating around in soap bubbles around the room – and, my absolute favorite: custom birthday party invitations you can have personalized with your twins’ names.

As a mother of three year old twins, I quickly realized the challenge and disappointment of not being able to find a card to give from my twins to friends and loved ones. As my twins attend numerous parties for playmates, spend holidays with family or just want to send a card to their Nana, they will now have something to choose from…and so will other families with multiples.

The entire site is darling, and I’m always quick to support other twin mamas! Go check out this Mompreneur and peruse her whole line of greeting cards. Maybe you’ll find something you like!
